
Holy Moly! Fall has come and it's freezing here in Michigan. I have always wore my shorts and t-shirts until mid November. I would just wear a fleece jacket through out the winter. The cold never bothered me before. Things have changed. Here it is only September and I've packed away all my summer clothes and am wearing sweatshirts & jackets already. I bought some gloves already, for my early morning jogs & bike rides. I learned the hard way last week that I need gloves. I thought my fingers were going to freeze and fall off last week when I went for a bike ride. I had to cut my ride very short. I went out last week and bought a new jacket and a new winter coat. I think I might be ready for when winter hits now.
The only thing I miss about being fat, is my blanket of fat around me to keep me warm. I aways just thought the cold never bothered me. I was partially right, but it was just because I had all that unhealthy fat keeping me warm. Even though I hate being cold, I'll gladly take being thinner any day. I'll even get some long johns if needed to get me through a Michigan winter.
