BIKE DAY

Today is the day that I'm back to logging everything I eat & drink.  I will also log my exercise.  I am starting the day off with a 12 mile bike ride at Stoney Creek Metro Park.  I bought a yearly pass so that I can enjoy the many actives they have.  I love the idea that I can do so many different things and not use boredom as an excuse.  Maybe after Memorial Day I'll even rent one of their kayaks and go kayaking.  I am going to try to go at least once a week.  I also want to try to go at least one week without any kind of sugar.   I am bound and determine to going to break cheating cycle I've been in as of today!

Update: After riding my bike 4 miles around the 6 mile bike path, my bike broke down.   That really stinks!   I'm really hoping it is an easy fix.  I did not let this stop me from my plans of exercising today.   I got the bike back to the beast (Explorer) and then my daughter and I walked the 6 miles around the park.  So riding the bike 4 miles, pushing the bike 1 mile (my daughter picked me & the bike up so I didn't have to push it the rest of the way) & 6 miles of walking makes for a pretty good workout.
