My quest at finally shedding 100 pounds or more. Good days or bad, weight up or down, exercised or not, I want to blog about it to for the next 12-20 months. Why the next 20 months. I figure if I lose 5 pounds a month, it will take me 20 months. I'm hoping by doing this, not only will it hold me more accountable, but will help me figure out what triggers my downfalls.

BIG GOAL ACHIEVED!
One of my goals this year was to walk our local bike trail from Romeo to Richmond. This is about 15 mile walk. I'm happy to report that my daughter and I made it all the way. I had a friend that tried but came about 3 miles short. She still did an awesome job and I'm proud of her. I must admit that the last two miles were the worst. My knee started to swell and my butt was on fire, but I didn't give in. I told myself that I was going to make it, even if I had to crawl there. After I got home, I did take some ibuprofen and iced my knee. I'm doing fine now, just a little stiff. I'll see what tomorrow brings. My next goal (that I will accomplish) is to ride my bike to Richmond & Back. I love my new active me with the can do spirit.
Today's Recipe: "Strawberry Push-Up". At only 28 calories, these are an awesome treat on a hot summer day.
