It is getting warmer out everyday. If fact it's unseasonably warm for March in Michigan. I have been out jogging & walking almost everyday this winter. I've only had to use the treadmill a few times. Today it's been raining most of the day and I really don't want to walk on the treadmill. I have decided that I would go up to the high school and swim laps for an hour. I checked out my app Lose It, to see how many calories I could burn doing 1 hour of moderate freestyle swimming. I was pleasantly pleased to find out that I could burn 571 calories. 571 calories burned doing something that I love to do. This is a win win situation. Tomorrow I will be back to jogging. Maybe I'll leave Monday's open for swimming, just for a change of pace.Recipe for the day: "Zucchini Grinders" Lower the cheese amount on this sandwich and it will stay well within your allotted intake of calories.
