Yesterday was my birthday. In the past this has always been a day of eating what I want with not a care in the world if I put on pounds. That was not the case yesterday. Now I want you to know that I did cheat, but it was a planned one. I wanted to go to "Outback" for dinner, but didn't trust myself. I know that I would have for sure ordered the bloomin' onion with that wonderful sauce and ate a good share of it. I decided instead to go to a new local steakhouse here in Romeo. Not only supporting a local business was a plus, but they don't have the bloomin' onion. I did order a 8 ounce sirloin steak (ate about 3/4 of it). I did order fries, first time since New Years Eve (ate about 1/4 of them). I did have a salad with a little bit of blue cheese dressing & croutons. I also ate a soft bread stick, yummy. The biggest cheat of the day was I stopped by the local DQ on the way home. I ordered a medium chocolate cone (normally I would have it dipped in chocolate & nuts) and brought it home to eat later that day. I did eat the entire thing and it was worth every stinking calorie. So now when you see that I only lost a 1/4 of pound the last two days you know why, but I'm okay with that. I still think every once in a while you need a well planned cheat, and what better excuse than your birthday. Today I have been back on track and got all my exercise in (yesterday I only got in half of my exercise time in).Today's Recipe: "Roasted Veggies & Fruit". I love the mix of the veggies & fruit in this recipe.
Stats: 186 pounds (lost 54.2 pounds)
Good for you!! Happy birthday again!!
