My quest at finally shedding 100 pounds or more. Good days or bad, weight up or down, exercised or not, I want to blog about it to for the next 12-20 months. Why the next 20 months. I figure if I lose 5 pounds a month, it will take me 20 months. I'm hoping by doing this, not only will it hold me more accountable, but will help me figure out what triggers my downfalls.

BIRTHDAY BASH OR CRASH!
Yesterday was my birthday. In the past this has always been a day of eating what I want with not a care in the world if I put on pounds. That was not the case yesterday. Now I want you to know that I did cheat, but it was a planned one. I wanted to go to "Outback" for dinner, but didn't trust myself. I know that I would have for sure ordered the bloomin' onion with that wonderful sauce and ate a good share of it. I decided instead to go to a new local steakhouse here in Romeo. Not only supporting a local business was a plus, but they don't have the bloomin' onion. I did order a 8 ounce sirloin steak (ate about 3/4 of it). I did order fries, first time since New Years Eve (ate about 1/4 of them). I did have a salad with a little bit of blue cheese dressing & croutons. I also ate a soft bread stick, yummy. The biggest cheat of the day was I stopped by the local DQ on the way home. I ordered a medium chocolate cone (normally I would have it dipped in chocolate & nuts) and brought it home to eat later that day. I did eat the entire thing and it was worth every stinking calorie. So now when you see that I only lost a 1/4 of pound the last two days you know why, but I'm okay with that. I still think every once in a while you need a well planned cheat, and what better excuse than your birthday. Today I have been back on track and got all my exercise in (yesterday I only got in half of my exercise time in).
