UP HILL CLIMB!

My husband, daughter and I climbed Mount Pisgah couple days ago.  It is not actually a mountain, but 239 steps to get to a wonderful view of Lake Michigan.   The first time up & down, wasn't to bad at all.  The second time, I must admit I went a little slower.  That's right, you read that right, the second time! I would have tired it one or two more times, but I was going on a long bike ride the next day and didn't want my legs to be to sore for the trip.  Guess what?  My legs were (and still are) very sore.   I discovered that even though I jog, swim and ride a bike, climbing stairs use completely different muscles.  My calfs and thighs are sore, and yet I want to do it again before I leave Holland.  I still have a hard time wrapping my brain around the idea that I can do it.  Last year I wouldn't have even attempted it.

Today's Recipe: "Turkey Veggie Meatloaf"  This is so good and only 200 calories per serving.   It's very filling.
